The Sailor of San Sebastian is an old sailor of the Royal Navy, serving on the HMS Undaunted. Donning a standard Royal Navy seaman uniform, with a rimmed hat and a set of mutton chops. He is responsible for evacuating the players from the shores of San Sebastian.

When the players descend from the platform following the death of Barry, the Sailor will be dispatched from the HMS Undaunted and will row towards the players gradually. Players will have to hold out for an extended period of time while Zombies swarm them from both the Fortress, and the British encampment in the distance. After a short period of time, the Sailor will arrive at the shore, and players will be able to board the rowboat.
After a short time, the Sailor will begin to leave and return to the HMS Undaunted, at which point the players will escape.
Trivia
- Their codename is "Boatman."
- Before recent updates, water used to seep into the bottom of the Sailor's boat, but the developers have since fixed this issue.
